Life is Good, a simple concept and a brand I've always loved and admired, but never knew the entire story behind the creation of the business. I have looked dreamily on the companies employment page, and yes, daydreamed about working there as a designer. For me it would be the ultimate gig. I believe in their culture, try to live it myself, it was founded on optimism and the belief that no matter what is happening in your life, there is good and there are reasons to be happy. Spreading optimism is their mission, and their tagline is simply brilliant:: "Life is not perfect. Life is not easy. Life is good." I love that the co-founder's (brothers, Bert and John Jacobs) mother was their inspiration and that they carry on the tradition to "tell me something good" to their employees. If more people followed their example and more businesses followed their model, I truly believe life would be even better.
